Our client, a premier Federal Government department in Barton, ACT, requires an experienced senior BA for a long 14 + 12 + 12 month contract.

This is a prominent and influential project, which is highly visible with a significant stakeholder community.

The project team is working on a whole of government web based service to improve collaboration and modernise the way important information is created, distributed and shared across government.

The Senior Business Analyst will:

• Meet with business stakeholders to elicit, capture and document business processes, requirements and business rules.
• Identify, obtain, analyse and document business requirements and process maps.
• Undertake interpretation and translation of business requirements into viable business solutions.
• Coordinate and liaise with stakeholders within the organisation including facilitating key discussion forums.

Selection criteria:

• A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst across various disciplines in ICT.
• Requirements gathering and documentation, business rules definition, process/workflow design and liaison with business representatives
• Web based applications.
• Working in Agile project environments.
• Facilitating business groups/ forums to elicit requirements.
