Program Support Officer Contract

  • 12 + 12 month contract – Immediate start
  • $85 – $105 per hour (inc-Super) – negotiable
  • Onsite or WFH – All States and Territories
  • Baseline Security Clearance Mandatory

Our client, a large, Federal Government Organisation responsible for health research, funding, promotion and regulation, are Seeking the experience of a Program Support Officer for long 12 + 12 month contract.

Duties of the Program Support Officer

  • Support evidence-based project planning and program oversight by developing, maintaining and coordinating such items as detailed schedules, stakeholder listings and engagements and action registers.
  • Support all aspects of project planning, development and implementation for a range of programs and projects; including developing project plans, coordinating resources, managing budgets, meeting reporting requirements, and supporting project-related activities, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope in line with the departmental framework.
  • Establishing and maintaining stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to engage stakeholders and support project deliverables to be delivered.
  • Monitor and evaluate all aspects of program and project implementation, including risk and contingency management to identify and address issues, assess project progress and effectiveness, and achieve project outcomes.
  • Working effectively with teams, supporting compliance with governance and quality requirements, to successfully deliver all key program and project/s milestones and outcomes.
  • Providing advice and information to stakeholders on emerging issues and escalating where appropriate to enable timely action.
  • Ensure all documentation and communication is appropriately maintained and ensure record keeping is accurate and consistent with relevant guidance.

Requirements for Consideration

  • A Baseline Security Clearance or higher.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Prior experience in a similar position within Government.
