• Remote work with possible visits to Canberra, ACT

About the role – Java Developer

Undertake production support work involving problem solving and troubleshooting errors that arise from the operation of business software systems. Work within a team to support and enable business areas through IT solutions.

Duties

• Analysis/Design/Code/Test improvements to Oracle Middleware & Apps as directed
• System documentation, Software development and change release activities
• Assist troubleshooting and problem resolution activities arising from operational incidents

Skills / Experience

• Experience / expertise in: JQuery JavaScript, User Interface design, Java/ JEE/ Oracle: Java / JSF, Web Services (REST and SOAP), Oracle Application Developer Framework (ADF), Oracle DBMS

• Experience in conducting peer code review and testing

• Proven ability to work in a team environment with strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with business users and development teams together with an ability to mentor other members of the development team
