Our client, a very large, Federal Government Organisation who promotes Australian trade, investment, tourism and education to the world. We deliver services to grow Australia’s economic prosperity Seeking the experience of a APS6 Financial Asset Accountant, based in the Canberra.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake financial and asset accounting processes.
• Ensure financial compliance with accounting regulations.
• Undertake Treasury functions.
• Support the month end process.
• Undertake payment runs.

Experience:

• Demonstrated experience with accounting systems similar to SAP, TM1, P2P, TRIM, or the ability to quickly acquire the skills to successfully navigate and use the systems.
• Demonstrated ability to provide leadership in your area of expertise, enhancing the capability of a team.
• Supported and promote a customer focused, respectful and supportive workplace culture.
• Contribute to a highly skilled and qualified finance network and delivering independent, trusted advice to key stakeholders.
