Our client, a large Federal Government Organisation, whose focus is on foreign signals intelligence, military operations, cyber warfare and information security, are Seeking the experience of a Cyber Security Specalist (Control Systems / Operational Technology) for a long 12+12+12 month contract starting 1st of July 2024.

Duties of the Cyber Security Specalist (Control Systems / Operational Technology)

• Assessing and recommending enhancements to the security posture of OT systems.
• Providing guidance for OT cyber security across various industrial sectors.
• Performing industrial risk analysis and developing mitigation strategies.
• Reviewing documentation related to control system cyber security.
• Assessing compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with other cyber security specialists to recommend improvements to client’s overall cyber security resilience

Skills and Experience Required

• Demonstrated expertise in OT Security.
• Experienced in industrial risk analysis and mitigation strategies.
• Understanding of cyber threats and vulnerabilities specific to industrial environments.
• Proven ability to collaborate with engineering and IT teams.
• Experience in applying cyber security standards and frameworks within an industrial context.
• Demonstrated expertise in OT Security within ICS and SCADA environments (desired).
• Knowledge or background in electrical engineering or control system engineering (desired).
• Experience with threat modelling, assurance principles, and security assessment frameworks (desired).
• Relevant certifications, such as GICSP/GRID/SANS ICS 612, ISA/IEC 62443 etc (desired).
