TSPV Project Manager Contract

• TSPV Security Clearance required
• 12+12+12 month contract
• $135 – $195 per hour (inc-Super)
• Canberra location

Our client, a very large Federal Government Organisation, whose focus is on national security, emergency management, boarder control, immigration and multicultural affairs, are seeking the experience of multiple TSPV Project Manager(s) for a long 12 + 12 + 12 month contract.

Duties of the Project Manager

• Manage project activities, inputs, and outputs in accordance with Department practices, methods, and standards.
• Lead and direct cross-functional teams to deliver project objectives.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Identify and manage risks and opportunities, incorporating them into planning, decision-making, and priority setting.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, team members, and other stakeholders, using influencing and negotiation skills.
• Analyse project performance, develop strategies to achieve outcomes, and initiate corrective actions as needed.
• Develop, maintain, and prepare project documents, reports, and submissions, including those for higher delegate and committee consideration.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to team members.

Skills and Experience Required

• 3-10 years project-related experience and/or Project Manager role.
• Able to apply project management methodologies and practices, e.g. Prince2 and PMBOK.
• Proficiency using project management tools.
• Qualifications in project management.
