Test Lead Contract

• 12 + 12 + 12 month contract – 1st of July start
• $120 – $135 per hour (inc-Super) – market estimate
• NV1 Security Clearance mandatory
• ACT address – Hybrid 3/2 dpw considered

Our client, a law enforcement & intelligence agency, are Seeking the experience of a Test Lead for a long 12+12+12 month contract, based in the Canberra City.

Duties of the Test Lead

• Guide team to produce matrices, test cases, defects, complex test data etc. and ensuring adherence to section standards and guidelines.
• Identify, create and maintain documentation to support test delivery, meet reporting obligations, and define quality standards for the test team.
• Contribute to strategic thinking and innovation.
• Provide technical advice on applications, systems, environments, data and tools (etc.)
• Coach, mentor, and provide on-the-job training to members of the test team.
• Develop and maintain the regression libraries, automated to the maximum.
• Manage and develop the testing program plans and testing deliverables according to the business priorities and release schedules.
• Critique software solution designs with a focus on usability, testability, maintainability, resilience, security, and performance

Skills and Experience Required

• Four years or more experience in testing or quality assurance role.
• Experience with different delivery methodologies including Agile and DevOps.
• Experience with technologies including Selenium, Java, Xray, Jira, DevOps, Big Data Technologies, NiFi, Kibana, Elastic and Hbase.
• Suitable ISTQB or equivalent certifications.
• Two years plus experience in leading or managing a team, and in training and mentoring staff.
