Solution Architect Contract

• 12 + 12 + 12 month contract – April start
• $175 – $250 per hour (inc-Super)
• NV1 Security Clearance minimum – TSPV preferred
• Scalable, & secure technology solutions (National intelligence)
• Canberra address – Barton (hybrid 2/3)

Our client, a Federal Government agency focusing on intelligence & National Security, are Seeking the experience of a Solution Architect for a long 12+ 12+12 month contract based in Barton ACT.

Duties of the Solution Architect

• Design & develop comprehensive, scalable, & secure technology solutions that align with business & technical requirements, ensuring seamless integration across multiple systems, platforms and environments.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, technical teams & external partners to understand requirements & ensure solutions meet the agency’s objectives and needs.
• Conduct detailed analysis of business needs & technical requirements, translating them into clear, actionable solution designs and specifications.
• Assess & recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks and platforms to meet the solution’s objectives, ensuring the most effective and efficient approach.
• Prepare detailed solution architecture documentation including design specifications, implementation plans & technical diagrams, ensuring clarity & alignment across teams.
• Ensure effective integration of new solutions with existing systems, applications & infrastructure, enabling smooth transition & minimal disruption to operations.

Skills and Experience required

• Minimum five (5) years’ experience in field of expertise.
• Formal training and demonstrated application of technical architecture methodology in one or more disciplines, including enterprise, solutions or network architecture.
• Demonstrated engagement skills, including ability to lead complex technical discussions to reach common understanding and agreement from a broad range of technical specialists.
• Excellent communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to senior leaders.
• Experience working in one or more NIC agencies in a capability delivery capacity.
