Software Developer – AWS – Python – DevOps Contract

• Canberra, Woden. Remote. WFH
• 12 + 12 + 12 month contract (ability to obtain a Baseline security clearance required)

Our client, a large Federal Government entity focused on trademarks is seeking a Software Developer – AWS – Python – DevOps.

About our client

They are the Australian Government agency that administers legislation relating to patents, trademarks, designs and plant breeder’s rights.

About the role – Software Developer – AWS – Python – DevOps

The ideal candidate will have proven experience with Agile delivery practices, experience delivering solutions using the AWS platform (with a strong emphaiss on Serverless applications), and experience with DevOps practices.

Duties

• Work autonomously under broad direction, using excellent communication skills
• Building and maintaining solutions using AWS
• Building and maintaining solutions using Python

Skills / Experience

• Infrastructure-as-Code (preferably AWS CDK), Python, AWS (particularly Serverless application delivery), CI/CD tools (ideally Jenkins)
• JavaScript and/or TypeScript, js, DevOps, Machine Learning and MLOps
• Experience delivering software utilising DevOps tools and practices
