Senior Mulesoft Developer

• 6+6+6 Month Federal Government Contract
• Baseline Clearance required
• Canberra role – Parkes (WFH / Hybrid)

Our Federal Government Client is undertaking a range of modernisation projects to uplift its business and ICT capabilities. In support of this, the ICT Services Division has a requirement for a MuleSoft Developer to support its initiatives. The MuleSoft Developer will design, develop and maintain innovative software solutions.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Support projects by developing and maintaining applications using Mulesoft.
• Work with business and technical teams to scope technical requirements, and provide advice and solutions for implementation.
• Design and build scalable code adhering to industry best practices and department’s design and security standards.
• Debug, test and optimise software to ensure efficiency and reliability.
• Integrate APIs and third-party services to applications.
• Collaborate with solution architects, other developers, testers and other project stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation and user guides.

Technical skills and experience required

• Strong knowledge and experience in Mule 3 and Mule 4 with Optional adjacent techs: Boomi Azure Integration.
• Knowledge and experience in MuleSoft API development and management (REST, HTTPS, SOAP, Relational Database (e.g. SQL).B, Message Queue, RAML – Oauth/JWT and TLS.
• Experience and knowledge in Cloud services (Azure, AWS) and on-premises legacy system integration.
• Experience with version control tools like Git or Azure DevOps Repos and Boards.
• Experience in Anypoint platform: CloudH.
