Senior Logistics Support Project Officer Contract

• 12 + 12 + 12 month contract in Canberra
• Experience in Integrated Logistic principles
• Current TSPV Security Clearance required

Our client, a secure and very well funded Federal Government entity is seeking a Senior Logistics Support Project Officer to join their team in July.

Responsibilities:

• Site liaison and stakeholder engagement, including with customers and suppliers, to ensure ICT Service Delivery requirements are met.
• Arrange travel and freight in support of sustainment and projects, including preparation of equipment for shipping in support of sustainment and projects.
• Plan, initiate and manage procurements to support program and organisational requirements. Manage priorities and workflows and schedule procurement activities to meet deadlines.
• Draft and review Governance and asset management policy documentation.

Technical skills:

• Experience in Integrated Logistic principles and the ability to quickly understand the sustainment of Defence capabilities and utilise inventory management systems.
• Experience supporting programme or project control boards, project assurance teams and quality review meetings.
• Experience monitoring service delivery channels and collects performance data.
• Has dealt with problems and issues, managing resolutions, corrective actions, lessons learned, and the collection and dissemination of relevant information.
