Senior DevOps Engineer (Cloud, AI, Data & System Integration) Contract

• 12 + 6 + 6 month contract – February 25 start
• $140 – $175 per hour (inc-Super) – market estimate / negotiable
• ACT, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane or Sydney address – Hybrid 2/3 WFH
• Obtain your Baseline Security Clearance

Our client, an independent statutory agency of the Government of Australia, who provide advice and investigations into workplace issues and compliance, are seeking the experience of a Senior DevOps Engineer (AI, Data & System Integration) for a long 12+6+6 month contract.

Duties of the Senior DevOps Engineer (AI, Data & System Integration)

• Lead the implementation of DevOps practices across the Technology Branch.
• Assist in the successful delivery of the Technology Strategy and Business Plan outcomes.
• Assist with the enhancement of the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the Technology Branch.
• Provide leadership and expertise in DevOps practices, ensuring seamless integration and deployment of technology solutions.
• Provide training and mentorship to internal teams on DevOps best practices.
• Ensure the practices around embedding security, reliability, and scalability of technology solutions is known, understood and applied accordingly.

Skills and Experience Required

• Demonstrated knowledge and skills of DevOps standards and practices.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing DevOps solutions.
• Experience with Cloud capability, AI, data and system integration.
• Demonstrated skills in leading and managing a team.
• Ability to provide training and mentorship to internal teams on DevOps practices.
