Our client, a very large, Federal Government Organisation, responsible for foreign policy, relations & trade, are Seeking the experience of a Project Officer – Armoured Vehicle Fleet Management for a long 12+12 month contract based in Canberra ACT.

Duties of the Project Officer – Armoured Vehicle Fleet Management

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to project teams, including scheduling, documentation, and coordination of activities.
• An ability to develop and maintain a service-oriented culture that provides high quality, reliable and timely support to the Civilian Armoured Vehicle (CAV) Team.
• Design and produce infographics to support project presentations, reports, and marketing materials.
• Assist in the development and execution of communication plans, create content for various channels, and ensure clear and effective communication within the project team and with stakeholders.
• Assist in the development and implementation of change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions and successful adoption of new processes and systems.
• Assist in the development and delivery of training programs and project plans, supporting the successful implementation of project initiatives.
• An ability to assist in the development and implementation of frameworks, policies, guidelines and other resources that deliver business outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills and Experience Required

• Proven experience in project management or a similar role.
• Vehicle fleet management experience.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in creating infographics and other visual aids.
• Experience in change management practices and principles.
• Experience in developing project plans.
• Proficiency in project management software.
