Network Engineer Contract NEW

• Sydney or Canberra with some WFH
• 6 + 6 + 6 month contract, $$$ Negotiable
• NV1 Security Clearance required

Our client, a very well funded Federal Government entity in the Health space is seeking a Network Engineer to join their team in April.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing the IT network infrastructure for the Agency’s new Canberra office.
• Installing and configuring network hardware, such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Monitoring and maintaining the network performance.
• Troubleshooting and resolving network issues and outages.
• Ensuing network security through firewalls, VPNs, and other protective measure.

Criteria:

• Demonstrated experience in IT infrastructure network for office relocation.
• At least 5 years work experience with IT infrastructure network such as IP network design, trouble shooting, Wi-Fi configuration, fibre and optics, switching and routing.
• Advanced experience with Cisco Switches.
• Cisco certified Network Associate (CCNA).
• Cisco certified Network Professional.
