Lead Data Analysts Contract

• ACT, NSW, QLD, VIC. WFH Hybrid
• 12 + 12 month contract (ability to obtain a Baseline clearance required) 7.5 hour day
• Experience with Python and R, fraud analytics, statistical techniques, and machine learning

About the role – Lead Data Analysts

The EL1 Data Analyst will exercise a considerable degree of independence to engage in very complex problem solving and issues management within the risk functions. The position will exercise sound decision-making and judgement to produce high level policy advice and operational support.

Duties

• Undertaking day-to-day analytical work and project management on a range of tasks including regular and one-off analyses and ad hoc requests
• Maintaining knowledge in understanding business areas with regard to business context, goals and key performance indicators
• Contributing to the development of reporting, assisting in the establishment of quality assurance and governance processes around all branch reporting

Skills / Experience

• Posses strong data analytics skills, in particular SQL (ideally SAS EG/SAS Viya), with a good knowledge of data visualisation and statistical analysis techniques
• Experience with high level data analytics skills
• Problem-solving, critical thinking, effective communication, and collaboration
