Junior Network Engineer Contract

• 12 + 12 + 12 month contract – July 2025 start
• $115 – $125 per hour (inc-Super)
• NV2 Security Clearance required
• Barton Address, Canberra ACT

Our client, a very large, Federal Government Organisation, responsible for foreign policy, relations & trade, are Seeking the experience of a Junior Network Engineer 12+12+12 month contract based in Canberra ACT.

Duties of the Junior Network Engineer

• Assist in the monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network systems
• Support the configuration and deployment of network devices and systems, ensuring compliance with security protocols and government standards.
• Diagnose and resolve network issues, escalating complex problems to senior team members when necessary.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Knowledge of basic networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Exposure to Cisco networking equipment or other vendor technologies.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and network management systems.
• Previous experience in government or highly regulated enterprise environments.
