Our client, a very large, Federal Government Organisation, responsible for National Security, law enforcement, emergency management, citizenship and border security, are Seeking the experience of an InfoSphere Specialist for a 2 + 12 + 12 month contract.

Responsibilities of the InfoSphere Specialist:

• Providing subject matter expertise in relation to the InfoSphere suite of products including DataStage, QualityStage and address Verification Interface, Information Services Director, Information Governance Catalogue and Data Replication.
• Providing expertise in relation to IBM products including Cloud PAK for Data, Message Queue (MQ), WebSphere, Tivoli System Automation for Multi Platforms.
• Providing expertise in designing real-time services for Data Quality including cleansing, standardisation, enrichment and matching.
• Providing technical expertise in configuring systems for high availability, automated fail over and disaster recovery.

Experience of the InfoSphere Specialist:

• Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline and at least ten (10) years previous experience working as a InfoSphere Subject Matter Expert (SME) in a data warehousing environment
• Demonstrated experience in the use of the IBM products including Cloud PAK for Data, Message Queue (MQ), WebSphere, Tivoli System Automation
• Demonstrated experience in the use of the IBM InfoSphere suite of products including DataStage, QualityStage and address Verification Interface, Information Services Director, Information Governance Catalogue and Data Replication
• Proven experience in each of the following: Teradata, DB2 and Snowflake
