Control System Specialist (Cyber Security) Contract

• NV1 security clearance required
• 12+12+12 month Federal Government contract
• Canberra/ACT, Brisbane/QLD, Perth/WA – WFH options

Our client, a statutory agency in the Defence portfolio that defends Australia against global threats, is seeking an experienced Control System Cyber Security Specialist to join their team.

Duties/Skills:

• Assessing and recommending enhancements to the security posture of OT systems.
• Providing guidance for OT cyber security across various industrial sectors.
• Performing industrial risk analysis and developing mitigation strategies.
• Reviewing documentation related to control system cyber security.
• Assessing compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with other cyber security specialists to recommend improvements to client’s overall cyber security resilience.

Criteria:

• Demonstrated expertise in OT Security within Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and SCADA environments.
• Understanding of cyber threats and vulnerabilities specific to industrial environments.
• Knowledge or background in electrical engineering or control system engineering.

Relevant certifications, such as GICSP/GRID/SANS ICS 612, ISA/IEC 62443 etc. are highly desirable
