Business Analyst x 2 Contract

  • EL1 level roles – 1 x Technical BA, 1 x BA
  • Baseline clearance preferable
  • ACT, NSW, QLD, VIC (3 days per week onsite)
  • Produce high level policy advice and operational support.

Our client, a large disability-services focussed Federal agency based in Deakin, ACT, requires 2 x experienced Business Analysts for long 12 + 12 month contracts.

Duties

  • Analysing data, interpreting results, and producing reports using advanced statistical techniques.
  • Overseeing and coordinating divisional and branch reporting to monitor, track, and drive improvement and performance outcomes.
  • Leading the development of business functional requirements and resources, ensuring consistency with contractual, legislative, and policy environments.
  • Leading a strategic approach in designing, delivering, and facilitating workshops, communication, and consultation resources to support complex systems and business information gathering and sharing.
  • Managing the establishment, implementation of the governance and compliance processes, dashboards, and management systems to track and evaluate branch and divisional performance.
  • Leading and overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and audit of risk processes, controls and undertaking issues resolution.

Essential Criteria

  • At least 5 years, working in a similar role performing business analysis activities including workshop facilitation, supporting the successful delivery of high-impact and high-value initiatives that lead to meaningful change.
  • Define and obtain an understanding of business needs, technical constraints, and technical concepts and present them in simple terms.
  • Engage the technical teams and deliver accurate documentation as part of the solution design.
  • At least 3 years, in a role relating to cloud platforms (preferably Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure) including delivery of new services.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience in working with diverse project, in-house development, and vendor teams to deploy complex, integrated technologies and effect business change.
  • Demonstrated experience and flexibility to adapt to agile and waterfall processes to deliver projects.
  • Experience in enterprise resource planning systems implementation and/or work history in a regulatory/enforcement environment.
