Automation Tester Contract

• 12 + 12 + 12 month contract
• NV1 Security Clearance required
• Canberra with some WFH arrangements

Our client, a very well funded highly secure Federal Government entity is seeking and Automation Tester to join their team in July.

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for the creation of test cases using own in-depth technical analysis of both functional and non-functional specifications.
• Automation testing of Web Applications using tools like Selenium across various browsers and platforms. Ability to write code to automate test with various testing frameworks.

Technical skills:

• Hand-on experience with testing teams and familiar with various testing approaches, tools and best practices. Roles involves overseeing the planning, design, execution, and reporting of tests to ensure that applications meets quality standards.
• Responsible for working with agreed standards and tools to design, code, verify, test, document, amend, and refactor moderately complex programs/scripts. Monitors progress, identifies issues, and collaborates in reviews.
• Support for existing automation methods and tools, configure them within known contexts, and create and update their documentation.
• Develop automation testing for API’s, testing pipelines in consultation with Developers.
