Our client, a Federal Government Office are looking for a Chief Security Officer for a 6 month part-time contract that can be worked remotely with minimal face to face contact hours.

The duties of the Chief Security Officer will include but not be limited to:

• Updating or developing security policies, procedures and risk management strategies;
  
• Develop and/or deliver both targeted and general security awareness training;
  
• Supporting upgrades of infrastructure; and 
  
• Working with Human Resources in developing/updating vetting policies and procedures to ensure the requirements of the PSPF are met.

The duties of the Chief Security Officer will have:

• Capability and capacity to deliver the services and outputs; and
  
• Detailed understanding and experience in the application of: the Commonwealth Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), and; ASIO Technical Notes and supplementary guidance.
